Outreach and Missions
United Baptist Church has a long and rich tradition of outreach and missions locally, regionally, and globally. Over the years United Baptist Church has contributed to the spread of the Gospel across Wyoming, the United States, and the world. Through our partnership with other Southern Baptist Churches, United Baptist Church is a supporter of more than 10,000 missionaries both in the United States and in the world. Through those financial efforts we share in the more than 6,000,000 people who have come to Christ through the work of the Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention, the North American Mission Board, and the International Mission Board in our 26 year history.
However, our work does not simply apply to the sending of funds for missions. United Baptist Church has also been a faithful church planting partner within Wyoming. UBC has worked to establish a number of churches across our state and been instrumental in carrying the Gospel to places that were without a Gospel witness. These partnerships include Set Free in Riverton, High Mountain Cowboy Church in Lander, Hyattville Cowboy Church Hyattville, and Flat Creek Community Church in Jackson.
United Baptist Church also actively seeks to reach out to our local community as well. Each year we minister to our community through Day at the Park and the Fremont County Fair. We host an annual clothing drive to assist needy families. We provide an annual winter car check ministry in preparation for colder weather. We offer Vacation Bible School for children of all ages. We also offer a number of community related workshops and services throughout the year.
At the heart of everything we do is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Without the life changing work of the Lord Jesus nothing else matters. As a result, the Gospel of Christ is at the center of every ministry we offer and every outreach we perform. For more information about the Gospel of Jesus Christ please click here.
